Terms of Service
We believe terms of service should be fair, readable, and grounded in mutual respect. Here are the straightforward rules governing your use of the Toolcolabs platform and utilities.
By accessing, browsing, or using any tool, feature, or service provided by Toolcolabs ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue using Toolcolabs. If you are using Toolcolabs on behalf of an organization or business entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
Your Files & Outputs (100% Yours)
You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all images, documents, text snippets, and data you submit to or process with Toolcolabs. We do not claim any copyright, license, or distribution rights over your media. What you produce is yours.
Our Platform & Software
All software code, visual interface designs, branding, logos, documentation, and algorithms comprising Toolcolabs remain the exclusive property of Toolcolabs and its licensors. You may not duplicate, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our platform code without express written consent.
To maintain the integrity and speed of the platform, you agree that you will not use Toolcolabs for any of the following:
- Unlawful Content: Uploading, processing, or transforming content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, or infringes on third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
- System Abuse & Denial of Service: Launching automated scripts, flood attacks, or excessive high-frequency requests designed to degrade, crash, or bypass rate limits.
- Security Probing: Attempting to probe, scan, exploit vulnerabilities, or breach authentication mechanisms of our hosting infrastructure or APIs.
- Malware Distribution: Using our compression or conversion utilities to embed malicious payloads, trojans, or spyware into media files.
Our engineering team puts extensive effort into calibrating compression engines, image resizers, color transforms, and converters to produce industry-standard output. However, digital transformations inherently involve trade-offs (e.g. lossy vs. lossless compression, color space shifts, or platform-specific emoji rendering).
Therefore, the services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We recommend always keeping an original backup of any critical media before performing batch operations.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Toolcolabs and its creators, contributors, and hosting providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our services or any loss of files, data, or business profits.
We are constantly refining our tools, adding new capabilities, and retiring obsolete formats. We reserve the right to modify or temporarily discontinue any tool or feature at any time without prior notice. We may update these Terms periodically, and your continued usage signifies your acceptance of any updated terms.
